Our Favorite Facebook Groups for Podcast Creators

The podcasting community is one of the most active and inviting communities, both online and off — which is great news for you! As a new podcaster, there’s no shortage of places to go and resources to tap on your podcasting journey. But as much as we love going to conferences and meetups, we also know that some locations don't have a large base of podcast creators–and travel is expensive! Luckily for us, there are lots of online communities where podcasters can look for help, network, and create connections, especially in Facebook Groups. Below are some of our favorites!

  • Simplecast Members Forum: Yes, okay, we're listing ourselves first. A Facebook group for Simplecast customers to meet their community and get to know the platform.
  • New Podcast Creators Group: "A community geared towards new and beginning podcast creators! We want to be a resource for you, whether it's through tool recommendations, podcast feedback, or networking opportunities!"
  • Podcasters Support Group: “A meeting place for podcasters old and new to keep in touch, swap tips, seek advice about technical stuff or interviews or general podcast-related business.”
  • Black Podcasters United: “A place where black podcasters can network, share ideas, get feedback, or simply stay connected with one another.”
  • /r/podcasts: “For podcasters to discuss content creation and techniques, and for podcast listeners to discover, discuss, and review podcasts.”
  • Queer Podcasting Alliance: “A group for queer podcasters (and those wanting to start a show) to network, swap secrets and stories, collaborate, and use each other as resources!”
  • She Podcasts: “A safe place for women and non-binary people who podcast or who are setting up a show currently to ask questions, provide support, share resources, wins, and advocate for each other.”
  • Podcast Movement: Built from the Podcast Movement Festival, it’s “a place for people who are podcasters, looking to become a podcaster, or who are members of the podcasting industry!”
  • Queer Podcasting Alliance: “A group for queer podcasters (and those wanting to start a show) to network, swap secrets and stories, collaborate, and use each other as resources!”
  • WOC Podcasters: “an inclusive group for women of color podcasters or aspiring podcasters. This is a place to connect, learn about podcasting, share resources and find potential guests and talent.”
